Freya Story:

Freya is the newest member of our family. Adopted from the local humane society we only know that she had a liter of kittens which everyone was adopted a few weeks before freya was adopted. She was only 11 months old, estimated, at the time ...which makes her a year old last month! Her original name at the humane society was 'Maple' but we felt she was just so affectionate and loving that she befitted a better name. Duchess was too common a Queen (female cat with a liter) name or just any female cat so we decided that Freya, the Nordic Goddess of love, was the perfect name. Shes been with us since 5-28-2006 and we plan on having her as a forever cat. ^.^

So please adopt from your local humane society/ rescue groups/ no kill shelters, spay and neuter your feline companions, and help out when needed.
